About Us

Aiming to provide release paper with high performance and quality that meets various customer needs

Since established in 1951, we have walked a path of technological innovation through Kaito Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., (company name changed in 1972).
After succeeded in manufacturing the first polyethylene laminated paper in Japan in 1955, we released SUMILEASE(R), following completion of release paper manufacturing technology in 1964.

To the present, we have continued research and development to respond to high-level requirements for release paper used in a wide variety of adhesive products that are essential for daily use, such as both-sided tape and adhesive plaster. Our products are acclaimed for its quality not only in the domestic market but also in overseas markets.

Under our management philosophy based on "Achieving corporate prosperity by contributing to the society through businesses" and "Exhibiting creativity and taking social progress and change in advance", we aim to demonstrate uniqueness and continue to grow as a release paper manufacturer built on technologies, through practice of "3Cs", that is, "Change (not hesitating to change), Communication (willing to cooperate or discuss the issue), and Challenge (challenging issues in a body) by each employee.

Environmental Policy

Under our basic policies "Coexistence and co-prosperity with the society" and "Reduction of environmental load", we have set our environmental policy as follows so we promote environmental conservation and efficient use of resources and carry out our corporate social responsibility. All our employees will perform their business activities with the understanding of this policy.

We will protect the environment by assessing the purose of reducing the environment load that products generate across their entire life cycle, from development and manufacture of the release paper through to disposal.

We will prevent environment pollution not only by complying with all environment laws, but also by making a voluntary effort.
3.
While recognizing the finite nature of resources, we will strive to make effective use and promote conservation of resources and energies as well as waste reduction.

We will strive to coexist and prosper with the local community by communicating with local authorities and residents.
