June 1953   Company renamed as Kaito Kagaku Kogyo KK.
November 1955   First extrusion laminator in Japan introduced and “Kapola” laminated craft paper developed
December 1963   Noda Factory completed
June 1964   “Sumilease” release paper developed
October 1965   Wide laminator for craft tape matting introduced
January 1966   “Hi-Cloth” matting for fabric adhesive tape developed
January 1972   Company renamed as Kaito Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.
November 1979   Silicon coater with laminator for “Sumilease” introduced
September 1993   1st phase construction at Iwaki Factory completed
July 1997   ISO9001 certification acquired for the Iwaki factory
March 2001   Production lines at Noda Factory closed to concentrate production at Iwaki Factory
April 2001   2nd phase construction at Iwaki Factory completed
January 2004   ISO14001 certification acquired for the Iwaki factory
October 2005   Release paper operations spun off from Kaito Chemical Industry as Sumika-Kakoushi Co., Ltd.
December 2005   3rd phase construction at Iwaki Factory completed
April 2009   Taken over paper release line business from Fujimori Kogyo Co.,Ltd.
